That’s a great question. The majority of samples packs come from dedicated online stores featuring packs from a variety of genre types, labels and artists. However, finding digital samples is like ‘crate digging’ for vinyl… lots of independent music producers offer sample packs on their websites not feature at the big online stores. These proceeds often go straight to the artist themselves. Just like here at bombdogchaos.com 🙂
Here in the studio there is a mix of digital and analogue audio devices for producing, manipulating and recording sound. For ‘fundamental’ sounds in electronic music such as bass, percussion, pads etc. the samples are created from scratch utilising synthesizers. These sound are processed using a variety of standard and experimental effects. Then record digitally to the high possible standards available. We are proud of both the content and quality of our sample packs.
For your own music our samples are 100% royalty free and hole heartedly encourage you to use our sounds in commercially released music compositions. However, bombdogchaos is the owner and master licensee of all sounds on this site. You may not re-distribute the sounds free or paid in any way. You may only use these sounds in your own music productions not in any other digital media such as websites, videos or software applications.
